Wedding FAQs

With the exception of the Celebration Garden, we limit access into the gardens but do not guarantee complete privacy.

Limited street parking is available on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and surrounding streets. The Music Concourse Parking Garage is within walking distance of the Garden. For the hours and for additional information goldengateparking.com

The Celebration Garden and the Garden of Fragrance are wheelchair accessible for both motorized and non-motorized chairs. We also have two non-motorized wheelchairs in the ticket booth, which visitors may use (*at their own risk) on a first-come, first-served basis. Handicap-accessible parking spots are available on Nancy Pelosi Drive and Bowling Green Drive.

Yes!

10 hour events in the Celebration Garden must conclude by 12 midnight, including cleanup. All other events and ceremonies must conclude by the Gardens time of last entry.

With prior approval, a battery-operated speaker is permitted for speaking vows and playing ambient background music only.  For events in the Celebration Garden where more amplification may be necessary, tenting, an Amplified Permit, and sound monitoring by Park Patrol may be required. Additional fees apply. Amplified sound must conclude by 10pm.
